We are a multi-disciplinary team comprising of a Consultant Paediatrician, four Feeding Specialists and a Paediatric Physiotherapist offering a comprehensive service for the management of colic and reflux in infants.

What is colic?

Colic is the name given to excessive or frequent crying in an otherwise healthy baby. Babies with colic will often be unsettled, especially after feeding and usually more so in the evening. For more information please click here

What is reflux?

Reflux in infants is frequent spitting up of milk after feeds. They can also be crying excessively either during or after feeds. They will often back-arch when in pain as seen in the image below. For more information please click here

About us

Dr Justin Roche has over 25 years experience as a Paediatrician. Over the last 15 years he has specialised in managing feeding difficulties in infants and children.

Kate Roche is a Paediatric Physiotherapist with a background in neonatal and developmental physiotherapy. She has undergone further training in craniosacral therapy for infants.

Justin and Kate have developed a world class tongue tie service along with the excellent team at the National Tongue Tie Centre. As many infants with tongue tie also present with symptoms of colic and reflux, as a team we have become experts in managing these conditions. We would like to offer our knowledge and experience to all infants suffering from colic or reflux, irrespective of whether they have tongue tie.
